Tour the impeccably restored Almond Growers/Farmers Alliance Building; a key piece in the agricultural history of Paso Robles, once known as the Almond Capital of the World. Built in 1922, left vacant since 1975 and recently restored by owners Ray and Pam Derby, this icon of Paso Robles history is once again producing Paso Robles’ finest crop, this time it’s grapes.
The tour offers a glimpse into the history of the building, the measures taken to restore it to historic accuracy and the elements added to turn it into a winery and tasting room. The highlights of the tour are the views from the Almond Room at the top of the tower, and of course, the wine tasting.
