The 2012 Festival of the Arts takes place May 25-27, 2012. The event will include Guest Lectures on Friday, the Main Event on Saturday and an Art Collectors Tour on Sunday. See below for announcements:

Illustrated Lecture "The Art of Looking at Art"
Location: Paso Robles City Hall Council Chambers (in the Library Building)
1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles.
Studios on the Park and the 2011 Festival of the Arts Committee are extremely pleased to invite you and a guest to an illustrated lecture by nationally recognized art historian Jean Stern, the Guest of Honor for this year’s Festival of the Arts. This event is now sold out.

Location: The Artist’s Garden
56 nationally & regionally-acclaimed artists exhibit & sell their artwork under canopies.

Interactive Environmental Displays
Location:  River Vision Area
Learn about environmental efforts and issues, in particular those relating to the Salinas River. River Vision Partners have interactive educational and art activities, including Sammy the Steelhead roaming the park at 11am., 12:30pm., and 2pm.

Paint Jam
Location: Youth Art Zone
A unique experience for ages 12 & up! Express ones life, mood or fancy in full color & take home the ultimate souvenir- your own original work of art. THE COLORS OF WATER Exhibition
Location: Studios on the Park (1130 Pine Street)
This special juried exhibition showcases original artworks interpreting the dynamic qualities of the world’s most essential element.
