2010 Summer Programs
Teens entering grade 6 through grade 12, life’s a beach when you sign up for our annual Teen Summer Reading Program.
A BINGO-style reading record will inspire you to explore various sections of the library. Enter weekly prize drawings by completing tasks on your reading log. You can also earn prizes like free treats from McDonalds, Taco Bell for your first three BINGOs and a special surprise for a Blackout. Questions? Call Kris @ 237-3870.

Design A Surfboard

Decorate a small surfboard for yourself and then one to decorate
the Teen Area.
Ductigami: Duct-Tape Art

Design a wallet or small bag out of duct-tape.

2:00 pm.
Check out
this band from Drum School 101, that plays on buckets, trash
cans, and water bottles! FREE tickets required.
My Space, My Place: Writer's Workshop
Thursday, July 8
2:00 - 2:30 pm.
Take
a photo of a place that means something to you. Bring the photo
& your ideas & join visiting poet Zachary Jack as he leads you
through a writing exercise about “place”. Display your work in
the Library, if you wish.
Rock Band
Thursday, July 15
2:00 - 4:00 pm.
Jam
with your friends and play Rock Band on the big projection
screen.
