Bring your dog to
Paso Robles Kennedy Club Fitness, rain or shine, and help raise
funds for the proposed Sherwood Dog Park in Paso Robles. The
4K/2K races begin at 9:00 a.m. Dog contests start at
10:00
a.m. and prizes will be given for:
- Best Dog-Owner Look Alike
- Best Dressed
- Tallest Dog & Shortest Dog
- Most Unusual Tail

Spring Break Art Classes

The talented
artists of the
Paso Robles
Art Association will conduct a series of free art classes
for children ages 8 - 12. Various art techniques will be taught
as artists from the Association rotate through each session.
Classes are limited to 20 students per day. Children may sign up
at the Library starting Monday, April 2, for one session:
Wednesday, April 11, Thursday, April 12, or Friday, April 13.
Senior Open House & BBQ
Honoring Senior of the Year and Volunteers

A traditional Santa Maria-style barbeque will
be served on the lawn at high noon and the Paso Robles Senior
Citizen of theYear Award will be presented. This event is also
to honor our wonderful senior volunteers. The open house is
free. Tickets for lunch will be sold in advance: $8 for pre-sale

27th Annual Taco Bell Track Meet

Put on your running shoes and join us
for the 27th Annual Taco Bell Elementary School Track Meet.
Events include running, softball throw, and long jump. Everyone
who participates gets a ribbon to commemorate the day.
Registration materials will be sent out through the Paso Robles
and San Miguel school districts in April. Questions? Call

Brushmarks Juried Teen Art Competition

Aspiring North County teen artists, in grades
6 – 12, are invited to submit artwork for our 5th Annual
Brushmarks Juried Art Competition. Submissions will be accepted
in two mediums - painting and/or drawing - and will be selected
by our Juror, artist Jack Johnson. A small submission fee will
apply. Winners in each category will win prizes donated by
Johnson that will be awarded at our Gallery Reception on Friday,
May 6. Entries accepted into the show will be on display in the
Library during the month of May. This program is underwritten by
the Paso Robles Library Foundation. For more information,

Library in March.

Celebrating the visual,
environmental and musical arts each Memorial DayWeekend in the
Paso Robles City Park, this art-filled 3-day event features
Guest Lectures on Friday, the Festival of the Arts main event on
Saturday, and an Art Collectors Tour on Sunday. Saturday’s main
event starts with a Plein Air Quick-Draw and Auction, followed
by a Fine Art Show, Youth Art Zone and Stage, hands-on art
activities for all ages, live music, dance performances and
other musical, visual, and artistic surprises. The main event is
