Paso Robles Public Pools Open!

The warm weather is back and schools are getting out now, just in time for the summer aquatic season. Bring your family and splash into summer at one of the two outdoor public pools in Paso Robles! Drown-proof your kids in the quality swim lesson program, have a birthday party at the pool, or bring the whole family for some inexpensive fun.

The Centennial Park Pool and Municipal Pool are now open to the public for weekend public swim on Saturdays from 1:00 – 4:00p.m. (Note: we are closed on Sundays.) On Monday June 14, both pools will open on weekdays for swim lessons and open public swim.  Read Press Release

Concerts in the Park

Paso Robles Downtown City Park
Fridays, June - August
5:30 - 7:30pm.

The fun, fabulous, free concerts are every Friday evening. Beverages (featuring J. Lohr wine) and food will be available for purchase. Proceeds from the beverage sales benefit the REC Foundation. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy our wonderful Paso Robles evenings with your friends and family. Download the schedule and post it on your fridge!

A Bike Valet will be there to park and secure bikes FOR FREE during the concerts. This helps us all by reducing car traffic and encouraging healthy activity.

Concerts in the Park are presented by the REC Foundation, City of Paso Robles, and J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, in cooperation with the Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association.

Summer 2010

Ann RobbCelebrate Summer!

As the days grow long, I invite you to peruse this guide and discover all the wonderful opportunities for you, and your family & friends to enjoy. Festival of the Arts, on Saturday, May 29, at the Downtown City Park, is an event for all ages. Over 80 world-class artists will participate – you can too! Art Stations welcome children to express their artistic creativity. Music and performances will be presented throughout the day; don’t miss the art demonstrations at the Studios on the Park. Beginning June 18, join us on Friday evenings for Concerts in the Park where every generation can enjoy great music and delicious cuisine. Midsummer Magic, on Saturday, June 26, is the signature fundraising event of our Paso Robles Library Foundation. Enjoy this memorable evening of casino games, music, dancing, an auction, delectable food and beverages while supporting one of our most valuable resources – our City Library!

Don’t forget to check out the amazing array of summer camps for children, swim lessons for all ages, and our extensive summer classes. So take some time out of your busy schedule and Celebrate Summer! You’ll be glad you did.
