WATER CONSERVATION
"By far, the area with the highest potential to save water is landscape irrigation. Cultivating plants better suited to Paso’s arid climate would reduce summertime water use, as would greater attention to irrigation system types and the patterns followed in applying irrigation water."
- Jim App, City Manager

Water Conservation in the Schools
This year the City will be sponsoring a new school education program for grades 3-6 in Paso Robles. This 45 minute class presentation will focus on the water cycle, watershed protection and water conservation. Skilled school presenters from a local education company will use colorful 3-D visuals during these interactive programs. All presentations are correlated to the California science standards.
