The renovation is complete! The year-long process of renovating the indoor Municipal Pool culminated in the Grand Reopening ceremony on Thursday, April 17th at 4 p.m. The Chamber of Commerce provided the ribbon-cutting ceremony, with Robin Woodjack, one of the indoor pool instructors, lending a hand with the scissors. City Councilmen, Gary Nemeth, Fred Strong, and Duane Picanco, came to see the new look and celebrate with Library & Recreation Services, Public Works, and numerous pool patrons and friends.
The renovation included:
- New bathrooms, dressing rooms, and showers
- Improved lighting, heating, and ventilation
- Re-plastered pool with new pool lights and heater
Take advantage of the wonderful classes that will be offered this summer at the Municipal indoor pool:
- Beginning learn-to-swim lessons for children
- Private or group lessons for adults, adapted aquatics classes for special needs swimmers
- Warm water aquatic exercise programs certified through the Arthritis Foundation
