How To Get To Paso Robles
By Bike:
Bike Valet at the Amgen Tour of California is a First for Paso Robles
While it is now common to use the bike valet service at SLO Farmer’s Market, its presence at the Amgen Tour of California is a first for Paso. On Thursday, February 19, 2009 when the race stops in Paso Robles, attendees of the race and festival can ride their bikes to downtown Paso Robles and use the Bike Valet service that will be located at the corner of 12th and Park Streets.
“The Bike Valet is like a coat check for bikes. We provide safe and secure parking for all types of bikes. With over 10,000 bikes parked since our beginning in 2006, we are extremely excited to extend our services to the community of Paso Robles,” said Daniel Rivoire of SLO Bike Valet.
This service is a program of the SLO Bike Coalition, the same group who offers bike valet service during Farmer’s Market in SLO on Thursdays. For more information, go to www.slobikevalet.org. The Bike Valet will park your bike for you and keep it safe between the hours of 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. There is no charge to use this service, and everyone within biking distance is encouraged to use it.
