Artist’s Statement
My paintings are a personal reflection of the world around me. I enjoy creating works of art
that are inspirational and uplifting. In an era filled with high technology, stress, and an
endless stream of “bad news”, I like to draw attention to that which is beautiful and often
overlooked, in our fast-paced, modern lifestyle.
I consider most of my paintings to be portraits, whether of a particular landscape that I’ve come to love, a gorgeous flower at a certain moment in time, or an endangered animal that I’m capturing for all eternity. I present to my viewers a vision of the world as seen through my eyes and hope that they can see what I see, and feel what I feel.
