9:00 a.m. PASO ROBLES FESTIVAL OF THE ARTS BEGINS AT THE DOWNTOWN CITY PARK!
 

Fine Art Show & Sale
Location: The Artist’s Garden
40 nationally & regionally-acclaimed artists exhibit & sell their artwork under canopies.

Public Mural Project
Location:  Where The Wild Things Are: Children's Art Zone
All ages are encouraged to add their creativity to an art mural that will be created and on display throughout the festival.

Interactive Environmental Displays
Location: Blue River: River Vision Partners.
Learn about environmental efforts and issues, in particular those relating to the Salinas River.
Interactive art activities will be available. Learn more about the River Vision Partners Display area.

9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Plein Air Quick-Draw
 

Location: Downtown City Park
28 well-known artists race against the clock to paint works of art while the public watches!

10:00 a.m. Follow the River, Paint the Dream Exhibition
 

Location: Studios on the Park (1130 Pine Street)
63 Festival artists contribute work to this separate exhibit showcasing the Salinas River Corridor.

11:00 a.m. Art Demonstrations
 

Location: The Artist’s Garden and Studios on the Park
Demonstrations every ½ hour. View demonstration times and descriptions.

Guided Salinas River Trail Tours
Location: River Trail Tours Booth
Come join the US-LT RCD and for an exciting Salinas River trail adventure. Find out how to identify and use California native plants in your landscaping. Also, learn how to use resources in a sustainable way by being a good steward of the land. Tours depart at 11 AM, 12:15 PM, 1:30 PM, and 2:45 PM.

11:30 a.m. Festival Fanfare
 

Location: Steps of the Carnegie Library
Paso Robles High School Jazz Band performing under the direction of Dr. Kirk Weller.

12:00 p.m. Plein Air Quick-Draw Auction
 

Location: Steps of the Carnegie Library
Frank Mecham, assisted by curator Tim Anderson, wields the gavel as spectators bid on beautiful art in various media.

Noon – 4:00 p.m. Children’s Stage Performances
 

Location: Where The Wild Things Are: Children’s Art Zone
Presentations every ½ hour by community dance, music, & theatre groups.

1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Café Musique
 

Location: The Concert at the Gazebo
Enjoy classical, folk & tango music while you stroll through the art displays & enjoy the children’s performances and art activities. More about Café Musique at www.cafemusique.org

4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Damon Castillo Band and Fine Art drawing
 

Damon Castillo BandLocation: The Concert at the Gazebo
Wine from Adelaida, Cass, J Lohr, and Justin Wineries available for purchase. Frozen Margaritas also  available for purchase. Bring your low-back chairs and blankets and sit back and enjoy jazz, funk, rock & soul sounds! More about the Damon Castillo Band at www.damoncastillo.com

6:00 p.m. Festival Finale
  St. Rose Concert Band under the direction of Ken Schmutz.
