Volunteers Wanted: Airport Commission
The City Council of the City of Paso Robles is in the process of forming a new AIRPORT COMMISSION.
This seven-member Commission will replace the current Airport Advisory Committee and will take a more active role in matters pertaining to aeronautical activities, proposed uses and safety of operations of the Paso Robles Airport and the development of this valuable community asset. The Commission will have 4 members representing airport stakeholders, and 3 members from the community at large.
The City will accept applications for appointment to this Airport Commission until: 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016.

The City Council will conduct interviews and make appointments in early October.

The AAC acts in an advisory capacity to the City Council and Airport Services Coordinator in matters pertaining to aeronautical activities, proposed uses and safety of operations of the Paso Robles Municipal Airport.
Additionally, it is the responsibility of this Committee to aid the City Council in its efforts to ensure that the current Airport Master Plan, Airport Land Use Plan, and other related planning documents are reflective of current attitudes, directives and projections regarding aeronautical activity at the Airport.
The AAC Bylaws were adopted at the September 6, 2011 City Council Meeting (Resolution 11-112).
