2008 Library Board Goals
Approved December 14, 2007
1. Advocate for continued and increased community support for the programs and services offered by the library.
- Advocate for the Library’s place in and contribution to the City of Paso Robles.
- Work with City and State entities to find funding to increase collections and programs.
- Promote the 100th anniversary of the Paso Robles City Library.
- Send at least 1 trustee will attend the American Library Association Annual Convention.
2. Update and implement policies established by the Library Board.
- Work to make policies more accessible
- Update policies.
3. Assess Library Services
- Develop and administer a survey of the young adult population (ages 13-18) regarding their interests.
- Develop recommendations for Library services to be offered at the First Five Family Resource Center.
