The Project Area Committee (PAC) is an advisory body to the Paso Robles Redevelopment Agency, City Council and, depending upon the specific topic, project or program, the Citys Planning Commission. The PACs mission is to formulate recommendations from property owners, business owners, and other persons with interests in the approximate 1150-acre Paso Robles Redevelopment Project Area. When the subject matter relates to Redevelopment Agency budgets or policies, the PAC recommendations are forwarded directly to the City Council and Redevelopment Agency. When PAC wishes to provide recommendations related to development projects or other land use related decisions, their recommendations go to the Planning Commission.
A key planning document that PAC reviews and is guided by is the Redevelopment Implementation Plan, which was adopted in December 2004 and which will be reviewed by PAC and the Redevelopment Agency in December 2007.
