NORTH SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY HABITAT CONSERVATION PLAN
The City of Paso Robles and the County of San Luis Obispo have re-initiated the preparation of a multiple species Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) for the northern and eastern areas of the County. The goals are to prepare an HCP to provide for conservation of endangered species, streamline the environmental review process for new development, and obtain a "take" permit in case there are impacts to protected species that result from development in the future.
The project is slated to complete a draft HCP by June 2013.
Public workshops and stakeholder meetings will be scheduled at key points in the planning process.
