SEWER

Lift Station No. 10
The mechanical system on this lift station is being upgraded by John Madonna Construction. Pumps have been ordered with expected delivery end of August 2010 and completed installation by the end of the year.

Mechanical Bar Screens
The mechanical bar screens at the Wastewater Treatment Plant are being upgraded. The project was awarded to Spiess Construction and the equipment will be provided by Parkson. The bar screens are being manufactured with delivery expected by the middle of August and installation shortly thereafter.

Paso Robles Sewer and Lift Station No. 5
The sewer in Paso Robles Street at 13th Street and Lift Station No. 5 are being upgraded. The project is being designed by Cannon in San Luis Obispo. Construction bids are expected to be advertised in late 2010.

Potholing Utilities for Sewer Upgrades
Bids are currently being solicited to pothole existing utilities for the final design of sewer upgrades at various location. The pothole information will be used to perform final design as follows:
 Riverside/2nd/15th - design by North Coast Engineering
 Oak Park area - design by Cannon

Sewer Main Rehabilitation
Old sewer lines at various locations in the City will be upgraded and lined to extend their useful life. The project is currently underway with the contract awarded to MGE Underground. Work should be completed by the end of 2010.
