Sherwood Park Little League Field Renovation

The Sherwood project was a combined effort by the City’s Parks crew and the Little League. The City crews did a complete renovation of the field surfaces both infield and outfield. The irrigation was modified, the grass areas aerated, leveled and reseeded and shrubs, trees and mulch were added beyond the outfield fence. A new infield and warning track were also installed by City crews as well as new fences and bullpens. Most of the materials for the project were donated by Little League and they provided the labor and materials required to put a fresh coat of paint on all the wood surfaces. Essentially the entire facility was renovated from the ground up.
