OTHER PROGRAMS & SERVICES

SAND FOR SANDBAGS

Sand is available on a self-serve basis next to the City's Streets Yard, 1220 Paso Robles Street. It is located outside the gates on 12th Street, just east of Paso Robles Street see map.

Please bring your own bags and shovel; these are not provided.

CHRISTMAS TREE RECYCLING

Celebrating a “green” Christmas is an established tradition in the City of Paso Robles. This year, as in years past, the City will accept recycled Christmas trees, grind them into mulch, and provide the mulch to residents free of charge. As of January 9, 2013 the City will no longer be accepting Christmas trees for recycling. (The City had accepted bare trees from December 26 through January 9th).

Pick up free mulch. From Monday, January 7 through Friday, January 18, 2013 mulch will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Loading and hauling is the responsibility of the individual. Mulch may be picked up at the City lot on the corner of 4th and Pine Streets, which will be open daily from 8:00a.m. to 2:00p.m. Entry is through the south gate.

*Please note, the only way we can provide this service is if residents bring in bare trees - no flocking, no tinsel, no ornaments, no stands and no artificial trees. Thank you!
