GRAFFITI REMOVAL

The City’s “zero tolerance” Graffiti Removal Program began in 1992, and strives to remove all graffiti within 48 hours of reporting, including graffiti found on private property with the property owner’s permission. Removal generally means painting over graffiti to match the existing base color as close as possible. The City also uses a combination steam cleaner/pressure washer/sand blaster to remove graffiti from concrete, such as sidewalks.

Anyone who sees graffiti within the City is encouraged to report it promptly. Accurate descriptions and locations are appreciated. Please contact the City at any of the following:
From 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Public Works Maintenance Division: 237-3873
Maintenance Division Fax: 237-3879

After regular office hours:
Police Department: 237-6464

SAND BAGS

The City will provide 10 sand bags to any citizen during the rainy season at no cost. Sand and bags are available at the Streets Yard (1220 Paso Robles Street) on a self-serve basis (please bring your own shovel). The sand is located on the 12th Street side, just east of Paso Robles Street, just outside the gate towards the river. View Map.
