GREENWASTE

Greenwaste is picked up by Paso Robles Waste Disposal as part of their curbside recycling program.  It is also accepted by Paso Robles Compost and the Paso Robles Landfill.

For curbside pickup by Paso Robles Waste Disposal, leaves, plant prunings, weed, tree trimmings and clean yard waste can be placed in the 96-gallon automated container provided by Paso Robles Waste Disposal.  The lid must close.  The container should be placed on the street next to your trash and blue bin by 6:00 a.m. with 3 feet of clearance on all sides.  Pickup is once a week on your regular trash day.

Clean green waste is a must. The green waste truck has a video camera to monitor green waste container contents as it is emptied. Containers contaminated with trash will receive a service charge of $7.40 per incident. Repeat offenders will have containers removed.

For more information regarding curbside pickup of greenwaste, contact Paso Robles Waste Disposal.

For information about taking greenwaste to Paso Robles Compost, contact them directly.  See their listing on our recycling contacts page.

Composting

Composting is a great way to create your own free soil booster, save landfill space and conserve water.  Visit the IWMA Composting page for more information.
