REBATES AND INCENTIVES
Note: Rebate programs will be temporarily suspended from November 17, 2014 to December 31, 2014. Please call in January 2015 to schedule a pre or post inspection.
Turf Landscape Conversion Rebates
The City of Paso Robles offers rebates to homeowners or business owners who replace irrigated lawns with drought-tolerant plants on drip irrigation, artificial turf, or permeable paving. A rebate of $0.50 per square foot of turf converted is available to a maximum of $500 per water account. Please note: to qualify, a pre-inspection of the turf area to be removed is required prior to any work being done. In addition, there are specific landscaping requirements that must be met. Call 227-7250 for more details or to schedule a pre-inspection.
High Efficiency Toilet Rebate Programs
By replacing an older high flow toilet with a new high efficiency model, the average household can save about 13,000 gallons of water per year. That’s enough water to fill a small backyard swimming pool.
The City of Paso Robles offers a rebate of up to $125 to homeowners or business owners who replace an older high flow toilet with new High Efficiency Toilet (HET) that uses 1.28 gallons per flush or less.
