Public Draft of the Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP)
The City’s updated Urban Water Management Plan examines community water demands and supply options. As such, it is very pertinent to the current debate over proposed water rate increases. The following is a summary of the Plan’s key findings:

The 2005 Urban Water Management Plan (completed in April 2008)
documents the City’s sources of water supply, defines water
demands, presents a water shortage contingency plan, describes
implementation of water demand management measures and guides
conservation efforts.
