A Message from Julie Dahlen

Director - Library and Recreation Services

"It is a happy talent to know how to play."
[Ralph Waldo Emerson]

Julie DahlenSummertime is delightful for so many reasons, not the least of which is more time to play! Library and Recreation staff are ready with an abundance of summer programming for all ages.

Our new City Librarian, Angelica Fortin leads the way with the Library's everpopular reading incentive program and free family performances. Aquatics Manager, Moria McNellis has big plans with the reopening of Centennial Pool this June, and Recreation Services Manager, Lynda Holt is ready with an impressive lineup of bands for her ever-popular Concerts in the Park series. The newly refurbished Downtown City Park offers a shiny new playground and other enhancements, just in time for summer fun.

Let us help you develop your happy talent this summer - come out and play, courtesy of the Department of Library and Recreation Services! And, thank you.

And, thank you.
