A Message from Julie Dahlen

Director - Library and Recreation Services

It's summertime and music is in the air . . .
on Thursdays!

Julie DahlenYes, the Paso Robles REC Foundation's ever-popular Concerts in the Park series is moving to Thursdays. Still scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 and still located in our lovely downtown City Park, the concerts' shift to Thursday is a neighborly decision to accommodate merchants' requests for more plentiful Friday evening parking near their establishments.

As the key fundraising event of the REC Foundation, Concerts in the Park proceeds have supported many recreational enhancements in our community, most recently, assisting with the upcoming renovation of the City Park playground. We are confident that Concerts will continue to be a great success, even on Thursdays! And, if our prediction misses the mark, we'll reevaluate for next year.

Sounds like a win-win to me! So, adjust your calendar, pack up the family and join us for another harmonious summer under the trees, courtesy of the City of Paso Robles and the Paso Robles REC Foundation. See you there!
