Skate Park brings it up a notch!
Pioneer Park is now staffed by the city during high-use times to insure that skate boarders wear helmets and full pads as mandated by state law. Even though this is a challenge for some of the users, parents are relieved to know that their children can skate board in a safe, monitored environment.
Pioneer Park is located on Riverside Avenue adjacent to the Mid-State Fairgrounds.
Not only does it have a much-used skate park, Pioneer Park has a lighted softball field with
bleachers, announcing booth and scoreboard, full basketball court, playground, and
restrooms, and a large group barbeque area available to rent.
Located right next to the park is the Pioneer Museum where you can step back in time and see the Paso Robles of many years ago.
To reserve the barbeque area download and fill out the Facility Use Form and either mail or bring it in to Centennial Park, along with a check for the appropriate amount (see below). You will also need to apply for an Alcohol Use Permit if your event will involve alcohol. Alcohol Use Permits must be submitted no later than 30 days prior to your scheduled event.
