Braille Institute Mobile solutions Van Visit

Computer Assistance
For novices to savvy users, free computer assistance is offered on the Senior Center computers. Take advantage of these one-on-one tutoring sessions covering basic to advanced computer knowledge. Learn how to set up and connect to the Internet and exchange email and photos with your grandchildren if you like. Monday and Tuesday by appointment.

The Senior Center has two beautiful computers that are available for members to use daily, so come on in and take a trip on the information highway for free!

Fibromyalgia Arthritis Foundation Group
A monthly support group for those suffering with Fibromyalgia Arthritis. Meets the 3rd Thursday of each month from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon at the Senior Center.  For more information call Elaine Hagen at 237-9069.

Health Screenings Provided by Community Action Partners
4th Wednesday of the month, 9:00 a.m. - noon
Services include: Total cholesterol test, blood pressure, anemia and double diabetes screening and nutrition counseling. For more information, call Community Action Partners at 788-0827.

Legal Aide for Seniors
Free legal advice for 60+ in the form of free 30-minute consultants regarding estate planning, probate, living wills, and other issues affecting seniors. To schedule an appointment cal 237-3880.

Lending Library
Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The library is open to all who enjoy reading a variety of books. There is an extensive selection in both paperback and hardcover; books are borrowed on the honor system. Borrowing a book is free and you're welcome to keep the book until you're done. Read at your leisure!

Medicare Counseling - HICAP
Monday - Friday by appointment.  A HICAP volunteer is available to assist you with Medicare issues. To schedule an appointment call HICAP at 1-805-349-7935.

Nutrition Services
A hot lunch is served daily at 11:30 a.m. Suggested donation is $2.75 per meal. Menus are available at the Senior Center. Home delivery is also available. Two day advance reservation is required. For reservations call Renee at 238-4831.

Senior Advisory Committee Public Meetings
2nd Monday of the month, 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
The committee serves as the advisory body to the Paso Robles City Council. You are invited to attend and keep up with the matters facing seniors today. Learn more about the Senior Advisory Committee here.
