For The Younger Kids-

  • Land of Imagination – So what do you want to be when you grow up – a fireman, a doctor, or a police officer? The only limit is your imagination.
  • Little House on Park Avenue - A complete housekeeping center for learning life skills while having fun. Don’t forget to ring the doorbell!
  • Barbie Land – Sure to delight!
  • The Train Station - All aboard for fun!
  • Pit Stop - Car racers compete for the fastest time – just remember to stay on the track!
  • Story Center – Designed to stimulate children to think, dream, and create.Guitar Class Rockin' Out!

Don’t miss the incredible music program offered at Oak Park, Wednesday evenings. Guitar classes are at 6:00 and drum classes at 7:00 p.m. Drum class is open to children ages 6 and up. Please call Sharine, 460-0276, regarding guitar classes and appropriate age to start .

Enjoy a high energy evening full of music and games including Black Jack, Roulette, Tripoli, Bingo, Craps and Poker. Popular with our teens. Everyone goes home with a prize. For specific dates, call Jesusita at 237-6595.

Almost every Friday night, the Oak Park Recreation Program offers our famous MOVIE NIGHTS. Call 237-6595 on Friday  afternoons to find out what is playing on our "Big Screen".

Looking for something to do on a Friday night? Try this fun program where popcorn and sodas are available.

Homework Help

Study Nights
Monday through Thursday
6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
In a safe, well lit environment, we offer tutoring, school supplies, computer access and reward incentives.

Looking for a place to study with friends, receive an evening snack and receive help with your homework? Bring your homework and friends to the Oak Park Recreation Program and watch your grades improve.

Computer Lab
Now you can have fun while getting your homework done! Our lab includes four computers with Microsoft Office and Word Perfect. Two computers are connected to the Pipeline for easy access to information on the Internet.
