In addition to the 150 beautiful cars up for auction, there will be other car-themed activities going on all around the city of Paso Robles. Enjoy glorious weather, one-of-a-kind cars, live music, gourmet food, and of course, great wine. The festivities are scheduled to start Thursday, May 22 and run all weekend long, so make your reservations accordingly. There are more activities to be added as they are confirmed.

The Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association and Paso Robles Ford Lincoln Mercury in cooperation with the City of Paso Robles,  will celebrate Memorial Day Weekend with a Roaring 20s Dance and Antique Car Exhibit Friday, May 23, 2008, in the Downtown Paso Robles City Park at 11th and Spring Streets.) in two separate contests - a Roaring 20s Dance competition and 20s Costume Contest. The City will put out a wood dance floor so you can “cut a rug” to the DJ sounds of Joe Benson.

The Antique Car Exhibit is from 4 pm to 9 pm and the Dance and Contests run from 7 pm to 10 pm. There will be food vendors as well as our downtown square’s great mix of restaurants available for dinner. For more information visit www.pasoroblesdowntown.org.

The award-winning Paso Robles Main Street Association presents the third annual Baby & Children’s Fair, sponsored by Johnson’s For Children and COAST 101.3 FM. Admission to the fair is free. There will be many information booths from health care, prenatal and infant fare, children’s resources, etc., vendor booths, face painting by Freckles the Clown, and numerous activities and displays.
