Make It @ the Library: Solar System Embroidery
Saturday, June 15, 10:30 am-12:30 pm
Using a variety of stitching techniques and simple designs, create an embroidered solar system to resemble the night sky. Space is limited and registration is required. For ages 16+. Register for your session online using our Library Event Calendar.

Paso Robles Book Group Reads The Calculating Stars by Mary Robinette Kowal
Wednesday, June 19 7:00-8:00 pm
Kowal's science fiction debut explores Elma York's experience in the International Aerospace Coalition's attempts to put man on the moon and her drive to become the first Lady Astronaut.
The Library’s Book Club is for readers ages 16+ and meets monthly throughout the year. Signups are not necessary.
Pyjama Drama Interactive Theater: Aliens in the Attic!

Worlds Beyond Our Solar System

Dr. David Mitchell, Cal Poly Astronomy Professor, will discuss how today's scientists find planets orbiting distant stars, what these findings mean, and what research looks like for the future. Registration is not required.
Monday, June 10, 4:00-5:00 pm
Do you have what it takes to be a Master Builder. Each build will have a different theme and challenge to put your building abilities to the test. Those that complete the challenge will see their creations on display in the Library following the build.
Family Game Day

An afternoon of board games for families to try out and enjoy! Games and snacks provided.
