The Library has partnered with Wells Fargo to teach credit basics including establishing and improving credit scores, managing debt, preparing to borrow, and exploring credit choices. Space is limited. Registration required. For ages 16+.

Make It @ Your Library! Día de los Muertos Shrines

Saturday, Nov 2, 10:30-12:30 pm 

Create miniature Day of the Dead shrines to celebrate Día de los Muertos. Participants are welcome to bring  meaningful items (no bigger than 1” high) to include on their shrine. Space is limited. Registration is required. For age 16+. (Family groups are welcome, however due to the nature of the tools and materials used, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.)

Ya Ya Yoga Story & Fitness

Tuesday, October 29, 10:30-11:00 am

Join Yoga Instructor Vanessa Orr for a fun 20-minute story yoga session with a Halloween theme suitable for a young crowd. The class will include a story and yoga, while incorporating breathing and calming techniques. For ages 7 and under.

Learn to knit or crochet with fiber arts expert Tamara Nichols of Cambria’s Ball & Skein & More shop. Supplies and basic instruction provided. Registration recommended. For ages 13+.

Maker Monday: Owl Pellets

Monday, October 28, 4:00-5:00 pm 

Be an owl ornithologists! Put your goggles on and dissect owl Photo of owl pelletspellets with us to learn about owl ecosystems. This will be a mostly messy and slightly gross class, so be prepared to get dirty!               For ages 7-12.
