Airport Commission
The Commission serves as a means to aid the City Council in gathering public input on the operation and future development of the Paso Robles Municipal Airport, by providing advice to the City Council, and by making decisions in those areas where delegated.

Building Board of Appeals
The Building Board of Appeals will hear and decide appeals or orders, decisions or determinations made by the Building Official relative to the application and interpretation of the Code.

Development Review Committee
The focus of the Development Review Committee’s review is to determine conformance of proposed projects with the city’s: General Plan, Economic Development Strategy, Zoning Ordinance, Design Guidelines, and other applicable City policies, resolutions, and standards, as well as compliance with the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.

Housing Authority
The Housing Authority of the City of Paso Robles operates Oak Park Public Housing, a 148-unit apartment complex of lower income households, located on the east side of Park Street, between 28th and 34th Streets.

Housing Constraints & Opportunities
The Housing Opportunities Committee has been appointed by the City Council to review housing issues identified at the October 17, 2015 Housing Workshop. The Committee's task is to make recommendations to the City Council on ways to increase housing production.

Library Board of Trustees
The Library Board of Trustees is advisory to the City Council, advising on matters concerning the library.

Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee
The Committee is advisory in all matters pertaining to parks, recreation, playgrounds and entertainment.

Paso Basin Cooperative Committee
The Paso Basin Cooperative Committee invites basin users and interested community members to attend a series of special meeting - public workshops on the development of a Groundwater Sustainability Plan (GSP) for the Paso Robles Groundwater Basin in accordance with the requirements of the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA).

Planning Commission
The Planning Commission has specified land use related decision-making authority. In Paso Robles, the Planning Commission has final decision-making responsibility for actions that are not legislative.

Senior Citizen Advisory
The Senior Advisory Committee is an advisory body to the City Council, representing the senior citizens of the community on issues and matters related to the senior center and its attendant recreation programs.

Short-Term Rental Task Force
The Paso Robles City Council has requested options for managing Short-Term Rentals (also referred to as "vacation rentals") within the City. As part of this process, the Paso Robles City Council authorized the City Manager to appoint a citizens' Short-Term Rental Task Force to examine the issue of short-term rentals.

Supplemental Tax Oversight Committee
In 2012, Citizens authorized a 1/2 cent sales tax increase and requested it be used for road maintenance. To ensure public trust, the City Council created an Oversight Committee to verify funds were used as requested. The "Oversight" Committee was formed to aid, and by, the City Council.

Youth Commission
The Paso Robles Youth Commission is a youth-led organization that seeks to provide opportunities and representation for youth through collaboration with local government in order to enrich the lives of the youth in our community.

Vacancies and Applications
The City has many advisory bodies composed of dedicated community members who provide important input to the City Council regarding issues affecting the community at large as well as specific groups or interests such as senior citizens, teens, the library and the airport.
