Introduction & Project Description

This Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) has been prepared to identify and assess the anticipated environmental impacts for the Paso Robles Recycled Water Distribution System Project. The City of Paso Robles plans to construct a recycled water distribution system for non-potable uses within the City and surrounding areas. Recycled water use will consist primarily of irrigation of landscaping, parks, recreational facilities and agriculture such as vineyards. The City received comments during the public review period and has revised the Mitigated Negative Declaration to address the comments received.

The main Project facilities include a recycled water pump station, recycled water storage tank, recycled water pipelines, and discharge facilities. The recycled water pipeline will be installed along public rights-of-way and on private properties.
