Olsen - South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan 

City Council Approval

The Olsen South-Chandler Ranch Specific Plan has attained final approval.  The City Council certified the Final Environmental Impact Report and approved a General Plan Amendment, a Zoning Amendment, a Specific Plan Amendment, a Development Plan, several Road Abandonments, an Oak Tree Removal Permit, several Vesting Tentative Tract Maps, and several Development Agreements to permit the Olsen-South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan at their hearing on February 20, 2020.  You can download the final Specific Plan document here.

Proposed Specific Plan Project: 

The Olsen - South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan project permits the development of 356 acres in the southeast corner of Paso Robles.  The specific plan includes 1,293 residential units, 9,800 square feet of commercial space, a possible elementary school site, and 29,335 square feet of community amenities. 

Location:

The project area is bounded between Sherwood Road, Fontana Road, Linne Road, Hanson Road and Meadowlark Road, in Paso Robles, California.

Planning Commission

The Planning Commission held a Public Hearing on January 28, 2020.  On votes of 5-0, the Planning Commission approved 16 resolutions recommending the City Council approve the project.  

The Planning Commission held a public hearing on February 11, 2020.  On a vote of 6-0, the Planning Commission approved a resolution recommending the City Council approve two additional street abandonments related to the Olsen-South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan.

Draft EIR

The City of Paso Robles released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR) for the Olsen-South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan on October 18, 2019.  The 45-day review period concluded on December 2, 2019.  The entire DEIR can be downloaded at www.prcity.com/357/CEQA-Documents.
