Thank you for visiting the Local Roadway Safety Plan web page.
The City was awarded a grant to develop a Local Roadway Safety Plan (Safety Plan) on December 4, 2020 by the California Department of Transportation.
The purpose of the Safety Plan is to establish the framework and process for identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing roadway safety improvements on the City’s streets. The Safety Plan identifies the top systemic collision patterns and top collision locations throughout the City. The Safety Plan also provides the City with a toolbox of countermeasures to address the systemic collision patterns. The Safety Plan also includes projects to reduce collision at high collision locations.
The City wants your input on the City roadway system and any problems or concerns that you know about, please take the survey.
