Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded to a vegetation fire in the area of 1203 Alamo Creek Drive on Saturday May 11, at 2:04 p.m. Upon arrival, units found a vegetation fire burning in the vicinity of a nearby apartment complex.
The fire was quickly contained to approx. 1/8 of an acre with no damage to any structures. Cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Fire Season is upon us and we encourage all residents to remain diligent in creating defensible space around their homes and eliminate potential sources of ignition. The wet winter has caused an abundant crop of annual grasses that will potentially increase our threat from wildfires.
