Following recommendations from the Office of the Governor of California, the Paso Robles Police Department is undertaking appropriate planning measures in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). The purpose of these measures is to ensure the health and safety of our community members and public safety officers.
At this time, there will be no changes to any of our call for service response protocols. As a reminder, we have telephonic and online reporting systems in place to aid in responding to service requests that are not emergencies, or that are no longer in progress. The community is encouraged to continue to use these reporting platforms in order to preserve public safety availability for emergencies.
As always, if you need immediate police assistance, the fire department or medical aid, call 9-1-1. For non-emergencies, please contact the Paso Robles Police Department Communications Center at (805) 237-6464. The online reporting system is accessible on the Paso Robles Police Department’s webpage: https://www.prcity.com/671/File-a-Police-Report
We are requesting the public’s cooperation when you call emergency services to alert public safety personnel if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19. This will assist officers and firefighters with planning an appropriate response to prevent the spread of illness. The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department has not reported any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the City of Paso Robles, or San Luis Obispo County.
The Paso Robles Police Department is monitoring the situation closely while working in partnership with our local, state, and federal partners to ensure the safety of our community and employees. Public safety is our number one priority. We want to thank our community for their understanding and cooperation as we all do our part to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
