PASO ROBLES, CA –May 22, 2020 On Wednesday, June 22, 10 am in the Library Conference Room, join Sylvia Hambly and the dancers of Hālau Hula Na Mele o ke Kai and explore the art of hula!
Hula dancing is a complex art form and there are many hand motions and foot and hip movements used to represent the words in a song or chant.
Get a taste of Hawaiian culture, music, language, and dance in this fun program for all ages. Na Mele o ke Kai is based out of San Luis Obispo and welcomes all interested individuals who want to experience the language and traditions of Polynesian cultures.
