Prompted by a legal challenge that alleges our current City Council election system violates the California Voting Rights Act of 2002, the City of Paso Robles is transitioning from the current at-large system of electing the City Council to a by-district election model. Eight to ten informational meetings and public hearings are scheduled between 11/20/18 and 4/16/2019 for residents to help design the maps of the districts.
