Community Meetings to Discuss Changing to District ElectionsDriven by a legal challenge, the City is transitioning from the current at-large system of electing the City Council to a by-district election model. The next two of many informational meetings are scheduled for December 5, 2018 at Centennial Park and December 10, 2018 at Flamson, both at 6:00 PM, so please plan to join your neighbors in planning this important change in City governance. Community Meeting to Draft of Sherwood Park Master PlanAfter multiple rounds of community meetings to gather input and ideas, the project designer has drafted two sets of plans for the Sherwood Park area and the City invites residents and elected officials to review, discuss and decide which ideas to incorporated into the final plan. Chamber Business Walk Results The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce conducted its first ever Business Walk on November 8, 2018. Bring your children to drop-off their letters to Santa between noon and 5 pm Monday through Friday, December 3 through 21. We’ll have a special holiday treat from Santa’s elves just for them.

Fire Support and New Squad Vehicle Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services responded with staff to assist with the Fires in Ventura, LA, and Butte counties. All our firefighters came home this week safe and sound.

The Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services received a new “squad” emergency response vehicle to meet the Operational Goals of the department and the growing service demands within the community.
