Learn to knit with fiber arts expert Tamara Nichols of Cambria’s Ball & Skein & More shop. Supplies and basic instruction provided. Those experienced in knitting are welcome to bring their projects and work on them as well. Registration is recommended. For ages 13+.

Enjoy a relaxing and reenergizing evening of coloring from the book, Creative Haven Skyscrapes. All materials are provided free of charge. Avid colorists are welcome to bring their own projects if they prefer. For ages 16+.

Using a variety of stitching techniques and simple designs, create an embroidered solar system to resemble the night sky. Space is limited. Registration is required. For ages 16+.

Dr. David Mitchell, Cal Poly Astronomy Professor, will discuss how today’s scientists find planets orbiting distant stars, what these findings mean, and what research looks like for the future. Registration is not required. For ages 16+.
