What are "public comments"?

The Council reserves time at each meeting so that members of the public may address City government about items of business interest not on the agenda. This is the time to tell the Council what you think. Under the rules of the Brown Act no action can be taken until the item is placed on the agenda.

The public has the freedom to make an opinion, complaint, or suggestion known. The Council may direct staff to look into your concern or suggest that you take the steps necessary to get it on a future agenda for consideration.
